Campus Access Badge Process

In early April, FRAN was asked to support the administration of the campus access badge process in Jira’s ticketing system. With the university being closed, Protective Services needed a method for identifying which USask employees needed to be on campus for critical reasons on a regular basis.

Creation of a Facilities Stores Online Order and Delivery System

Early in the COVID-19 outbreak, it became clear that Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), cleaning, and sanitizing products were going to be in significant demand. In the decentralized stores model, it was challenging to assess the current inventory of these products across campus in order to keep senior leaders informed of the university’s ability to continue or resume on-campus activities.
